The TWSBI Diamond 580AL Emerald Green is a piston filling fountain pen. This means that you simply unscrew the endcap, dip the nib into a bottle of ink, screw the endcap back in and you are ready to write! Many of the standard fittings are aluminum anodized in a beautiful emerald green and only available for a limited time. The 580AL holds a significant amount of ink so you are able to continue to write for long periods of time. Also, because the body of the pen is a sturdy, clear acrylic, you are able to see the ink slosh back and forth inside of the pen as you write - something that is very enjoyable.
